Two Rivers Bluegrass

If you folks haven't been to a bluegrass festival in Leakesville, MS lately, you're missing meeting some of the nicest folks on earth. Some great music as well as good shopping from the vendors at the festival. The music is in a covered arena and great fun, rain or shine.

Music City Texas

We had a magical evening at Linden getting to pick again with our good friends, Hickory Hill Bluegrass. What a great theater and is the theater is run by a comedic and music legend, Mr. Richard Bowden of the comedy duo, Pinkard and Bowden. What a thrill.

Fun at Silver Dollar City

We had a great time once again performing at Silver Dollar City. We shared the stage with the amazing Kenny and Amanda Smith. The festival runs through the end of October and there is more great bluegrass on its way. Try to go visit the nice folks at SDC if you get a chance.

We've completed half of our original cd! We've all written at least one tune and we're really excited about it. Our next local gig will be the first Wednesday in September at The Afterthought. Located in the heights area of Little Rock, it's a great, intimate venue and we'll be unveiling a few of the new songs. Tell your friends and neighbors - we hope to see you there.

Cypress Creek Park

If you haven't been to Cypress Creek Park lately, you need to go. It was beautiful and it's the friendliest festival we've been to in many years. Hats off to the Everetts for the wonderful festival.

Canton was a great festival!

We had such a great time in Canton, Texas this weekend. Pete had played at the very first festival there in 1977 and it was great to be back for their 30th anniversary. A band couldn't make the Saturday show and we were held over to fill their spot. We made many new friends, hugged lots of old friends and look forward to coming back to Texas in the future.

Mt Ida

It was so good to see old friends and new at Mt. Ida last night. We want to thank Jerry, John and the great folks with Possums Unlimited for treating us like royalty. We look forward to playing in Mt Ida again on the courthouse square on May 12th.

We're out and pickin...

Howdy friends and neighbors! We've been quiet this winter - working on new material and writing songs. Now it's time hit the trail and play. We'll have a fun show this Saturday night at the Mt. Ida High School. Doors open at 6:30. Show starts at 7:00. Also, mark your calendars for some bluegrass festivals where we'll be performing this spring and summer. We'll be hosting a one day free bluegrass festival at the beautiful White Oak Lake State Park on May 5th. We'll be performing at Texas' largest bluegrass festival in Canton, TX on June 22nd and playing at Cypress Creek Park on July 5th and 6th in Adona, AR. Come camp and bluegrass with us. Details are posted on our calendar.

Hope to see you soon!

Merry Christmas

We wanted to take a moment to count all our many blessings and thank everyone for all their support this year. All four of us have songs in progress that we're tweaking and are really looking forward to 2007. God Bless You and Have a Merry Christmas.

Silver Dollar City

It was such a blast to play again for the wonderful folks at Silver Dollar City. We shared the stage and hung out with the great guys (and awesome pickers) from Special Consensus. We met some wonderful folks from across the country.

Fun in Mt. Ida

We really enjoyed playing for the nice folks at the Front Porch in Mt. Ida and are planning a return next May. This organization is doing a great job keeping the music alive and supporting bluegrass, country and gospel groups like ours.

CDs are in!

It's finally completed. Our third cd, titled "Everything Old is New Again" is complete and we're really excited. Our official release will be Saturday, August 26th at our appearance in Mt Ida. Please see our schedule for more details.

Bluegrass Monday

We were so excited to perform again for Bluegrass Monday, KASU's monthly bluegrass program. Great crowd - great time.

Pickin in the mountains

We had a great time last weekend picking on the courthouse square at the 44th Annual Arkansas Folk Festival in Mountain View, AR. We saw many old friends and made some great new friends. Our next glorious outdoor gig will be at White Oak Lake State Park. We'll be the host band for the one day, free bluegrass festival in the prettiest park in Arkansas. Come camp for the weekend, bring your lawn chair, fishing pole and we'll have a great time.

Happy New Year

The new year is off and running. We're booking new dates for 2006 and 2007 and would love to play for your event. We've got several tracks completed on our new cd, working titled "Everything old is new again." We purchased our own recording studio and are having fun watching Pete trying to fiddle and record at the same time. Our music clips and photos will be up soon. We have a number of other events that we're currently contracting and will also have those up soon. Thanks for your patience. Pete, Britt, Tom and Patti
